On October 4th, 2024 Korea K-Design Award held a grand award ceremony and related design activities at Signiel Seoul Hotel, Lotte World Tower, Seoul, Korea. Mr. Jeffrey Zee, founder and chief designer of JFR Studio, attended and participated in the related design activities as an award-winning member, witnessing the best design works of 2024 and the designers who created them.

In early March, JFR Studio hosted 20 designers at their newly renovated Shanghai office. The tour was organized by Ms. Zhang Yingping of CIID Ningbo and sponsored by CIMIC, with visits to various destinations throughout the week-long event.

Held at the iconic KKL Luzern in Switzerland, the BLT Architectural Design Award is based on rigorous and comprehensive criteria that require the winner to demonstrate excellence in innovation, practicality and sustainability. JFR Studio's projects, Night of City and STONESAL, was winners in the Bar and Restaurant categories respectively. Notably, Night of City also earned an honorable mention in the interior category. Jeffrey Zee was personally invited to attend the prestigious BLT Architectural Design Award ceremony where he graciously accepted this accolade on stage.

2023 26th China Interior Design Award ceremony was held at the Tao Xichuan Auditorium on the 10th NOV.. As one of the award winners, JFR Studio design team was invited to attend and participate in the annual ceremony.

Recently, the re-evaluation of the 8th "Zhongzhuang Cup" National Undergraduate Environmental Design Competition officially ended successfully. The founder and chief designer of JFR Studio, Jeffrey Zee, was invited to serve as a member of the Judging Committee of this year's National University Environmental Design Competition. During the re-evaluation stage of the competition, through scoring in different dimensions, the works selected for the final stage were selected to assist students from learning design to doing design provides comprehensive guidance.

The IDEA-TOPS ceremony and G10 Designer Summit came to a perfect end, where famous designers from the world's top design institutions and renowned scholars from top universities gathered together to witness the dream and glory of contemporary design. Mr. Jeffrey Zee participated in the dialogue as a special guest, and the company's project MAGO KTV in Hangzhou won the Nomination award for Best Entertainment Space Design.

The forum wasjoined by Mr. Jeffrey Zee, Founder of JFR Studio,Ms. Xu Heng, Co-partner of HPP, Mr. Johnny Lin, VicePresident of CallisonRTKL, Mr. Sun Tianwen, Founder and Chief Designerof Shanghai Hip-pop Architectural Decoration Design, and Ms. HanXiaolan, Editor-in-chief of designcool – also the host of the forum.Together they discussed and shared opinions on how to define excellent commercialspace, achieve higher quality and value of commercial space, make commercialspace design sustainable and other topics.

The China Overall Case Design Award 2020 – national preliminary evaluation and the Third Casarte Better Living Space Design Competitionrecently came to conclusion in Shanghai. Mr. Jeffrey Zee, Founder of JFR Studio, was invited to serve as the on-site judge at Shanghai Stop and make comments on the entries presented by participants.

As of 2019, the China International Space Design Competition had been held for nine editions. Over years it has grown into the most authoritative and influential event in China’s construction and decoration design sector, playing a crucial role in improving the creativity of space design in the country.
