Founded by Jeffrey Zee in 2013, JFR Studio is an inter-disciplinary design office comprises of a group of energetic and creative design professionals based in Shanghai.
The boutique studio mainly engages in interior design, space planning, brand building and consulting services in the fields of commercial, hospitality and entertainment. Since its establishment, the company has completed well over hundreds of projects throughout mainland China and overseas. These projects range from high-end clubhouses, restaurants, brand exhibition halls, show flats, bars and nightclubs, brand flagship stores, boutique hotels etc. The client list includes famous domestic and international retail and hospitality groups.

Jeffrey’s expertise is in adapting international advanced design concepts to local needs, meanwhile, pursuing design quality and innovation in every project.
Since the inception of JFR Studio, he led his team to complete over hundreds projects for well-known companies at home and abroad, including high-end entertainment spaces, restaurants, brand showrooms, flagship stores, hotels, etc. These projects were honored with an array of awards such as the IDA International Design Awards, the A’Design Award, the FRAME Award, the China International Space Design Competition, and the Successful Design Awards.
